Our original plan was to drive out to Titus Canyon but after some discussion we decided to stay home and relax. The wind was howling all night shaking the MH and scaring Jewel. It is overcast and chilly today at 56 degrees with constant wind.
When we were touring Scotty’s Castle the tour guide told us that there was a huge storm front blowing in that would bring snow in the upper elevations and rain in the valley.
The forecast was for rain to begin here around 6 pm and just like cue the rain started. We thought it would be just a light rain but were surprised to here and see a significant down pour. Hence all the signs in the area about flash flooding.
I have been able to get the blog up to date but unable to post because our internet access has restrictions. Ron walked to the Visitor Center to re-up for another day. So we will be taking the Titus Canyon drive tomorrow.
